Ways of injection in the TandemMould Technology
Here we would like to show you examples of use for injection of TandemMoulds.
Example 1
Injection out of the middle plate
Needle shut-off nozzles for the transition within the first parting level

Injection out of the middle plate with MuCell-process.
6 needle shut-off nozzles in each parting level directly on the part.
Example 4
Melt transfer into the middle plate by an extended sprue bush.
Direct injection into the cavities through 12 needle shut-off nozzles (Prima series).
Back-to-back arrangement of the nozzles allowed symmetrical installation for better power balance within the tool and a smaller tool.

Transmission in parting line 1 by two opposite positioned shut-off valves.

Transmission of the melt within parting line 1 realised by open jet and needle valve jet.
The needle valve jet avoids leak of melt out of middle plate during opening of parting line 1 (because of remaining pressure in hot runner after injection).
Gating realised by jets with pin.

Transmission of melt within parting line 1 by mechanical shut-off (no remaining residual lug at transmission). Shut-off function works mechanically.
Only 1 hydraulic core pull essential to operate all needle valve jets. Cooling of needle valve jets not essential.
Complete height of manifold platen 132 up to 210 mm.

Injection out of Middle Plate.
Transmission of melt within parting line 1 by all in all 4 needle valve jets for better pressure balance.
Gating of the cavities of the two parting lines with 8 neddle valve jets each side.
